Celestial Adult Book Club: Literacy & Community
Learning is a lifelong journey that shouldn't end when we leave the traditional classroom. At Celestial, we believe that adults also need a sanctuary to foster intellectual curiosity, find meaningful community, and decompress from the "Human Doing" mode of daily life. We are proud to host the Celestial Adult Book Club, a unique gathering for those who want to combine their love of literature with the grounded, peaceful atmosphere of the barn. Here, the "Quiet Magic" of our equine partners provides the perfect backdrop for deep reflection, soulful conversation, and shared discovery.
Led by our Program Director, Chrissy, our book club focuses on titles that explore the human-animal bond, personal growth, and equestrian history. Meetings are held monthly in our Heated Classroom, often followed by a "Quiet Session" in the barn where we can observe the herd and reflect on the themes of our reading.
