Our Equine Experiences are immersive, sensory-focused encounters designed for those who wish to slow down, unplug, and rediscover a sense of wonder through the ancient bond between human and horse.

These sessions are not "lessons" in the traditional sense. There are no performance goals or technical skills to master. Instead, we invite you to simply be with the herd, allowing their steady rhythm to become a catalyst for your own peace.

A Sensory Journey

The barn is a sanctuary for the senses. In our Equine Experience sessions, we guide you through a mindful exploration of the stable environment:

  • The Breath: Listen to the deep, rhythmic exhale of a resting horse. In the stillness of the barn, you’ll find your own breathing naturally slowing to match theirs, a process known as co-regulation.

  • The Touch: Feel the contrast between a horse's powerful, muscular shoulder and the velvet softness of their muzzle. The simple act of resting a hand on a warm coat is a grounding experience that brings you instantly into the present moment.

  • The Atmosphere: Breathe in the earthy scent of fresh hay and oiled leather. These "stable smells" act as powerful sensory anchors, helping to quiet the digital noise of the modern world.

We offer several pathways for you to connect with our equine ambassadors, tailored to your comfort level:

Paddock Presence: The Art of Observation

Experience the herd in their most natural state. You will be settled in a comfortable, safe area adjacent to our 19-acre pasture. Guided by a facilitator, you will observe the subtle social dynamics of the horses as they graze and interact. This "passive presence" is a powerful form of meditation that fosters patience and deep observation.

Quiet Connections: In-Stall Immersion

For a more intimate experience, spend time one-on-one with one of our "Gentle Professors" like Shrimp or Reno. Under supervision, you can sit quietly in their space, participate in a gentle grooming ritual, or simply share the silence. This session is ideal for those navigating grief, high stress, or those simply looking for a non-judgmental partner to listen.

The Pasture Walk: Mindful Leading

Experience the harmony of movement by leading a horse through our peaceful trails or pasture. This is a walking meditation where the focus is on the shared rhythm of footsteps. It is a lesson in leadership, intent, and soft communication that requires no riding experience.

Educational Field Trips: For Schools & Families

We invite schools, homeschool co-ops, and families to join us for a day of discovery at the barn. Our field trips provide an immersive "behind-the-scenes" look at horse life, tailored to the age and interests of your group. Activities include:

  • Stable Science: Learning about horse anatomy, nutrition, and what it takes to keep a horse healthy.

1-Hour Individual Equine Experience: $60

  • 30-Minute Individual Equine Experience: $40

  • Small Group Experience (Up to 4 people): $80/hour

  • Group Field Trips: Please contact us for custom group rates based on your school or organization's size.

Note: As a non-profit mission, we believe everyone should have access to the healing power of horses. We will offer scholarships and sliding scale fees once we are approved for individuals and families with documented financial needs.
